An Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) is a flight deck instrument display system in which the display technology used is electronic rather than electromechanical. EFIS normally consists of a primary flight display (PFD), multi-function display (MFD) and Engine Indicating and Crew Alerting System (EICAS) display. Although cathode ray tube (CRT) displays were used at first, liquid crystal displays (LCD) are now more common.

Our VOR*SIM™ makes mastering VOR navigation simple and inexpensive. Our software is an interactive, graphical VOR simulator that allows the user to drag the aircraft anywhere, rotate the OBS knob and locate aircraft positions exactly as it would be done in the aircraft. The software also allows the user to switch between traditional or original versions of the OBS instrument. Other features include an OBS demonstration, DME tool, VOR transmitter demonstration and explanation, and a complete VOR history and explanation assistant. TCAS II / ACAS II Collision Avoidance System User’s Manual

This manual applies to systems which are compliant to RTCA DO185A MOPS Change 7.0 and RTCA “DO-185” MOPS Change 6.04a. These systems are referred to as TCAS II (Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System) in the United States and ACAS II (Airborne Collision Avoidance System) internationally. The terminology is used interchangeably and, for the purpose of discussion, TCAS II will be the terminology used in this manual.
